A new “parallel” version of the popular crossover Suzuki V-Strom 650XT like a good old V-Strom without the “beak”, but now – with the “beak”. If you do not know, it is the “beak” that makes any bike “adventure”.

The seat on the XT is made of molded leatherette, on which fulcrum does not fidget and sweat. It just changed the shape, but it became much more convenient. V-Strom XT became really little more than “adventure”, without losing the comfort of transportation for long distances on roads of any kind.

Here it is – the main part of adventure-bike! There is no enduro without the “beak”! Seriously, in this case it is simply a “marker”, which is the easiest way to distinguish between a normal V-Strom from the XT.

Dashboard, steering wheel, mirrors, controls – all the same as in the normal version of the crossover.

Spiked wheels, dirt (not mud!) tires and migrated motor really allow XT to go confidently on dry and slightly tarnished soil/sand?

Spiked (19” front and 17” rear) wheels, shod with touring tubeless tires – another difference from the conventional V-Strom. Give a little more cushioning and tranquility on rough terrain or jumping on the curb.

Motor of XT with capacity of 68 hp was slightly reconfigured “preloaded”: it began to respond more accurately to the throttle and well-controlled lower (ca. 2000) revs than the standard model. But it is the nature of the apparatus as a whole became more nervous.

The dashboard is simple, but functional: speed, transmission, speed, clock/temperature “overboard”, odometer, engine temperature.

Appearance of V-Strom raises questions and associations, but does not affect the speed. But with terribly uncomfortable adjustable visor need to do something.suzukivstrom005
