Planned for September BMW R nineT Scrambler

BMW Motorrad has announced the official release date of BMW R nineT Scrambler. The new family member R nineT will appear in German dealerships on September 17. After this date, R nineT Scrambler will move slowly and other dealerships across Europe to reach global markets.

The Bavarians have also reported that the price in Germany is set at €13,000 (including VAT 19%), making it the most affordable Scrambler motorcycle of “boxer” type from BMW.

There are no mentions of the dates when the BMW R nineT Scrambler will get to the US and Canadian markets, but we think that it may take a very long time as long as the North American riders will be able to enjoy this motorcycle. In addition, BMW has not mentioned about the US market prices, as well as about any other markets, for that matter.

Speaking of prices, the bike with the highest price since of those below the BMW R nineT Scrambler in the manufacturer’s price list is F800GS Adventure, which is slightly cheaper with a price tag of €12,300. F800GSA is quite impressive on the pavement, however, it is quite another breed of motorcycle.

Scrambler is the first model in a brand new Heritage world from BMW, presented last fall at the EICMA in Milan, and it looks as if everything only starts. We spoke with one of the leading designers of BMW Motorrad, and he said that the Heritage world will soon be supplemented by other models.

If Heritage world from BMW will be something similar and amazing as Faster Sons and Yard Built powered by Yamaha, we can expect more neo-retro car, which we will know in the autumn of this year on the Intermot in Cologne and at the EICMA.

Recent rumors suggest that the Scrambler family will be supplemented by at least three new models of R nineT, but more detailed information about them will be available with the approach of autumn Motor Show.

In addition, when it comes to the World Heritage, we can not help but recall the concept BMW R K5 Hommage presented in May at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2016. Want more BMW neo-retro sweets? Of course, we hope that this is the case, so stay tuned!
